co2balance has been working with Bournemouth University’s School of Conservation Sciences for a number of years in order to provide external validation for the science behind its operations.  This process involves regular reviews of the factors used in our calculators (although these are, in any case, provided by the UK Government and therefore have a solid foundation).  This regular reportage has enabled co2balance to produce what we believe to be the most robust and accurate set of carbon calculators and most credible series of carbon offset projects anywhere in the world.  A certificate of scientific validity is available on request.

Bournemouth University have also used our calculators to establish their own footprint
