How our Offsetting program works

co2balance is unique. No other offset provider is able to offer a range of in-house Verified Emissions Reductions (VERs). Our additionality test is also the strictest anywhere in the world. Put simply, if at least half of the project's capital requirement is not provided by carbon finance, we will not invest in it. To provide additional confidence, all co2balance projects are being accredited under the Gold Standard and Vountary Carbon Standard.
