Suzanne Longworth
Projects Director
Suzanne began her career in IT working in the UK and USA. Suzanne has successfully founded a number of organisations, and has enjoyed the challenge of business development. More recently, as Projects Director, Suzanne spends her time ensuring the delivery of the co2balance carbon offset projects across Africa and Asia.
Huw Jones
Financial Director
Huw has a long career in business having acted as Finance Director for a number of large companies. He is a Chartered Accountant with responsibility at co2balance for all finance.
David Olalo
Finance Coordinator
David is a graduate of the University of South Africa. He is currently pursuing a degree in Applied Accounting. He also holds a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management. David brings with him a wide range of experience and knowledge from the Hospitality industry where he worked in the Finance Department as well as in the Personnel Outsourcing field.
Pete Coventry
Director
Pete is a mechanical engineer with 20 years experience of living in Africa. British Army trained, he is used to working in extreme circumstances with minimal logistical support. This experience can prove invaluable when dealing with field projects which require both technical expertise and an understanding of the local culture.
Based in Diani, on the South coast of Kenya, Pete uses his experience to ensure all aspects of co2balance Kenya's work is well co-ordinated and runs smoothly.
Also responsible for the sales side of co2balance Kenya in the coastal sector, Pete uses his contacts from 20 years in Kenya to establish awareness in the local business community about the work that co2balance are doing.Paul Keir
Director
Born in Glasgow, UK, Paul has lived in Africa for many years and has been involved in a Hotel business, a global wine company and a commodity company primarily trading in wheat and maize.
Paul has been dealing with the private business and political sectors within Kenya for more than 30 years and has a sound knowledge of the business affairs of most African countries which he puts to good use in his work for co2balance.Harjeet Bharij
Construction and Logistics Coordinator
Harjeet studied Aerospace Engineeing at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia. Harjeet is responsible for our project roll-out across Kenya. This role consists of purchase and supply chain management within Kenya, sourcing relevant contractors to carry out projects, issuing contracts under company guidelines, project logistics, project management at the implementation and delivery levels, and managing data collection and upload. In addition, he also manages the project management teams on site on a daily basis. Harjeet has relevant project management experience in the mining, motorsport and aviation industry which compliments this role.
Mark Simpson
Managing Director & Founder
Mark has overall management of the organisation and also has particular responsibility for expanding the company's operations in Africa and Asia. His early background as a Research Scientist has been instrumental in setting up the foundations of co2balance's environmental business.
