Improved Kitchen Regimes PoA

CO2balance are proud to have been the first project developer to register a Gold Standard micro Programme of Activities (mPoA). This mPoA can be used to develop microscale projects throughout all LDC’s in the world. Technologies eligible for inclusion are improved cook stoves and safe water devices. CO2balance in conjunction with several partners already have approximately 35 micro projects within this programme. Project locations include Sierre Leone, Rwanda, Uganda, and Malawi. CO2balance can offer credits from these projects in addition to engaging market material, images and client trips.

We already have projects under development in Cameroon and Kenya. As well as the opportunity to include projects within our mPoA, CO2balance can offer credits from these projects in addition to engaging market material, images and client trips.

Solar PoA

CO2balance have registered the world’s first microscale programme that is specifically designed to allow low income groups in LDCs to access PV technology. Using projected revenues from carbon credits, CO2balance work with local PV retailers to subsidise the costs of PV units and improve their marketing strategies to reach new customer bases and increase sales. Our first project is in Bangladesh and we plan to expand our operations into other less developed countries in the near future.

Gold Standard Smallscale

Our small scale Gold Standard projects issue up to 60,000 VERs every year. We work with communities in developing countries to deploy a range of efficient technologies aimed at improving their quality of life, improving health and economic outcomes and reducing global emissions. Improved efficiency cook stoves reduce the need for firewood and the volume of harmful smoke the families are exposed to. If you are interested in investing in one our existing small scale projects or purchasing issued VERs please contact us; we would be happy to explain how your support can save lives and be good for your business.
