Over the last few weeks, annual monitoring has been taking place in Sierra Leone by our partners CODE-SL. These surveys help provide evidence for the calculation of carbon credits, and to ensure the project is delivering its SDG targets.

This year, Sierra Leone has been conducting annual monitoring using the KoBo Collect app. This smartphone application allows us to distribute a standardised survey to all projects, quickly make changes based on feedback in the field, and provide a paperless solution that will help reduce admin costs, provide an online evidence chain, and speed up data processing. These steps allow us to more easily analyse data and ensure quality.
